To create the Spooky Halloween Jack-O-Lantern with dry ice fog, you will need:
Make sure to follow all dry ice safe handling precautions.Choose a pumpkin large enough to hold a large can inside. Clean out the pumpkin and carve a friendly or a frightening face. Keep in mind, carbon dioxide fog sinks so more fog will flow out of the bottom. When you are done cleaning out and carving your pumpkin, fill a large glass about half full with hot water and mix in a cup of salt. Use a glass that is taller than the eyes of your pumpkin in order to get fog to flow through all of the carvings.Place the glass inside of the pumpkin. Wearing thick gloves, drop two or three large pieces of dry ice into the cup of water and cover the top of your pumpkin. Make sure the lid fits tightly to eliminate air currents dissipating the fog. As the water cools, add more hot water to maintain the fog effect. As a rule of thumb, one pound of dry ice will create 2-3 minutes of fog effect. The hotter the water, the more fog, but the quicker dissipation of the dry ice.
Ingredients:1 quart lime sherbert, 2-Liter Lemon Lime Soda,Prepared cherry drink mix, lemon lime soda or cranberry juice...Other Necessary Items: Dry Ice (place order online for local delivery or call us for more info) 1 rubber glove,1 large cauldron (found at any local craft or party supply store),1 smaller plastic bowl that will fit inside the large cauldron. Our recommendation is to have at least 1 inch space between the bowls. 1 large spoon
Place the smaller bowl inside the large cauldron. Drop spoonful's of sherbert into the smaller bowl until all of the sherbert has been transferred out of the original container. Pour the lemon-lime soda over the sherbert and stir. Using tongs and gloves, carefully place chunks of dry ice in the large cauldron on the outside of the smaller bowl. For effect prior to serving, carefully cut the rubber glove away from the frozen hand. Place the frozen hand in the Witches Brew. In addition, add warm or hot water to the dry ice in the cauldron to increase the fog effect for a spooky Halloween punch. As the water cools, add more hot water to maintain the fog effect. As a rule of thumb, one pound of dry ice will create 2-3 minutes of fog effect. The hotter the water, the more fog, but the quicker dissipation of the dry ice.Be sure to stir the Witches Brew right before servicing as the sherbert will rise to the top.CAUTION: DO NOT let the dry ice come in contact with the punch! If the dry ice comes into contact with the punch, tiny chips may flake off and burn the throats of those drinking the punch. Please be careful! Make sure to follow all dry ice safe handling precautions.

Use tongs to drop dry ice cubes into your guests’ drinks before serving. A small cube will bubble for about five minutes before disappearing. Of course, because dry ice is so cold it is ideal for chilling drinks as well as making a creative effect.
Caution your guests not to drink the dry ice cubes. This is easy to avoid, since dry ice sinks and stays at the bottom of glasses. Any cocktail can become a spooky cocktail when you add dry ice. Colored cocktails, with red grenadine, green melon liquor or blue curacau are ideal. Always use safe handling when working with dry ice.
